A year that begins anew according to the date on the calendar of time. In reality of the spirit realm, time is behind because God’s calendar has been in effect in an era according to his measure of what we call time.

The world is in warfare, not because of the values that men set forth to attain of liberty and freedom, but because of the value that God has set forth from the beginning of creation, the beginning of man’s time. This is the war of all wars, because this is the final war. The war that is not between countries or states for material or political gain, this is a war of the worlds. There are only two; they are the spiritual worlds of God and his greatest enemy Satan. This is the strategic war of not just minds and bodies but the war between the spirit of man and his soul.

The Spirit is in communication with the spirit of God, his son Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. The soul is in communication with the spirit of Satan, his fallen angels and the Antichrist. The battle wages over the soul of man, his freewill is engaged in the warfare of the mind, the emotions and the body. When the soul, which houses the mind or the intellect of a being, is guided by what he thinks, is agreed with by what he feels and is lived in by the physical body he has become complete by his choice of who governs his total being, either God or Satan.

How do we overcome this battle? Simply by choice. You either choose God and become a citizen of the kingdom of heaven thereby renewing your mind with his thoughts, causing you to feel his presence within you and obeying with the actions of the physical body, finding yourself now a citizen of God’s kingdom. Or you don’t choose that is, and no other choice is left to you, because by denying God you stay in the grip of Satan himself who already owns you by your doubt of God. While there is still time choose today whom you will serve. Choose God and stand ready to be outfitted with all the fullness of the armor of God, all of who Jesus Christ is in his power and majesty and become victorious with him because he has already won the battle the day he hung upon the cross. It was the day he poured out his life’s blood to cleanse mankind from all sin, and while the blood spills over all whosoever choose to believe. This same blood fell upon the serpent, the devil, who crawls upon the earth and it choked him because he could not swallow the cleansing blood of Jesus Christ.

This date is time to remember the year marked on the calendar of God for man’s attention to be drawn to him as never before. Gone are the days of yesteryear with the religious and pious attitudes of goodness which proclaimed man’s holiness. “Look at me,” He seems to say as he puts forth his hand upon the church door to open it wide for all to witness the announcement of his presence.

Yet there is one who has been kept in the shadows, awaiting the announcement of his arrival within the heart of man where the Lord truly means to dwell. The edifice of beauty that replicates and reflects the saints and martyrs of long ago seem as cold as the plaster by which they are made. For in truth the church, meaning here the building of mortar and stone, created saints of their own making determined by the judgement of man’s goodness. The days have turned into months, then years of man’s hypocrisy, and has led him to now, to today, his future promised by the past dictated by his chosen path he now finds himself where he is today. Just where is it that he finds himself? He finds himself nowhere, for he has lost the way of life even as he struggled, sweat his blood and tears to achieve, he has finally come to stand still and survey all that he has accomplished and acquired of life.

As he surveys his holdings, he finds they are like dust crumbling in his hands, for he has accomplished nothing of eternal value and all about him is sinking sand. Is life after all just one big deception, a game played to the finish to find there is no pot of gold at all? Who has devised such a horrible trick upon the man? Who could be so devious as to play him a fool? Who? No one but you. You have deceived yourself by the choices you made all through your life’s journey. You have neglected to remember that you were created for a higher purpose than the choices of your own comfort and satisfaction. You were created by God, your Father who intended great and wonderful purposes for you to enjoy of the gift of life. Your life is the greatest gift bestowed by the love of God. He gave it to you freely and sent you into the world with his heart filled with love, hoping, wishing, wanting you to acknowledge your ancestral birth, your inheritance in his house, and to use your life with all of its riches in him to inhabit the earth reflecting his presence within the seed of your birth thereby maturing in the fullness of who you were created to be, and coming at the end of your lifetime to return to him bringing him many gifts, the hearts of all those you spent your life in investing and building for the kingdom of God. This is your reward, now you can look around you and see all the riches and wealth you have attained by choosing all the right paths of life as directed by the spirit of the living God. Now you can return home and claim the greatest gift of all; the pure love of God your Father forever being with him in eternity.

The voice of the Lord comes as a loud sound like a tidal wave of rushing waters within the middle ear, because it has been clogged with wax that has built up a wall against the normal flow of sound that fills the senses with the voice of love.
This loud voice is the sound of God’s anger against the lies and deceits of the enemy of God, and therefore his anger is directed toward his own because they have chosen to believe the lies which have led them down a dark and dangerous path. The darkness of the mind where the Lamp of Truth has been put out, like a wick smothered by lack of air. The surrounding darkness sucks up the oxygen and breathing becomes difficult as the darkness is suffocating and blinding.

We have become deaf, dumb, and blind to the Word of God, we have moved away from his presence so that we cannot hear or see him, so therefore we have no word to speak. Having lost our way in the darkness, we have no voice to cry out, no sure direction of movement and hopelessness and despair have become our constant companions. We have reached the end of our rope, there seems to be no way of escape. We can’t see, can’t hear, can’t speak, but we can feel first the fear that engulfs us, we can feel the edge of the cliff on which we stand giving way. We are about to fall into the abyss of the darkness, plunging headlong into the eternal darkness to which lies and deception have brought us. Feeling is the only resource left to us, so let us feel our way by touching the wall we face and discover its length and breadth. Let us access our options and move slowly and deliberately even as we scale the heights of the wall before climbing to the end of our rope.

Even just a spark of hope can be fed by feeding its flame. Adding faith to the shred of hope creates a fire of desire to escape the darkness and find the marvelous light. When desire is ignited the heart begins to pump with life and its flow strengthens the whole body which brings the ears, eyes and mouth into the perfect union of worship toward the God who appears to those in the midst of their darkness into the light of his truth, His way, which is the life.

God’s voice is the only sound we need to listen for in the midst of the turbulence of the world. His voice is the voice of truth, the voice of love, the voice of comfort and the voice that calls us to come and listen to what He has to say. When all other voices of worldly authority plant fear, shame, guilt and promise more of the same with words that fall like fool’s gold from their lips. We are filled with fear and loss of hope and trust in a world we once embraced. We have been betrayed by life itself, finding that our dreams and fantasies are just that. Hopes are dashed against the stone wall that slowly built around our hearts as we shut out not only the voices of the world that have betrayed our trust but we shout out the voice of God as if he were a part of the pack. The God who created us with love, for love, to be loved and to love him in return. We have now betrayed our God, our only source of pure love, the only one who truly cares beyond the caring of the world. In our pain and anger instead of turning toward him and laying our weary heads upon his breast, we have pounded upon him with our fists asking why he has done this to us. As we vent our anger and pain, he pulls us closer to his breast and enfolds us, putting his head against our own as if to commute his thoughts without speaking, for his voice has not been understood. Our thoughts have not been his thoughts, therefore our ways have not been his ways, and so we have found ourselves lost in the wilderness of our own making just because we would not believe in his love toward us.

Love is the answer to all hurt and pain, love covers all wounds and forgives all transgressions. Love heals, and build up the heart, the mind and the body to its former beginnings in God, which is to say “perfection”. All of trials, hardships, even the deepest pain experienced are the trails of being made perfect in God’s sight. Look into the mirror to see his view of you, and since He created you in his image and likeness, he sees and says, “Perfect.” The mirror is his eyes and He see’s his reflection in yours. This is perfection.

The trials and tribulations you will suffer will not be due to your inability to overcome but will be the fulfillment of my promise to deliver you from all evil. This is an enemy of your soul who you identify as Satan; the devil. Whose very name fills you with fear of his very existence but you must put everything in perspective as I have ordained and mapped out in my word. All is not lost for what is about to be your life is consistent with my plan. This enemy is not yet a name to be feared but a spirit who wars with my spirit for your allegiance. He is jealous of love and because he has lost all that he once enjoyed of such, he wants to destroy any feelings or emotions of love toward me. You must come to understand not only the warfare that is being waged but the tactics by which he attacks your mind, the place where he has access by reason of your doubt of my love. You have come to understand that he attacks in your weakest area. Some of you suffer physical symptoms that may prevent you from advancing toward me in the body, but others of you suffer emotional symptoms which prevent you from advancing toward me in your mind, therefore in your soul, and there it is he attacks. Your thoughts need to be changed, your mind needs to be renewed for the root problem is doubt of my love and the enemy play havoc in this place of doubt.

Thoughts of not being not deserving of my love, thoughts of your unworthiness to be loved, thoughts that lie and say you could never be wanted and loved by someone, even me, your Lord, your God. This is the weapon of the enemy, he is a spirit of hate and he wants you to hate me even when you deny that position with words of positive affirmation. You are in a state of emotional confusion. Hebrews 4:12 states the word of God is like a sharp sword that cuts you to the quick, with the truth which in turn separates your soul from your spirit. When you are living a life of existence struggling to survive and trying to please me, you only fall into the condemnation of your own soul, for my spirit is of love and love would not cause you to feel such pain of guilt and unworthiness. Security of love is not to be found in your worldly accomplishments but only in the arms of peace and love, which is what I offer you as I extend my arms toward you, inviting you to run to me and let me engulf you in my embrace and calm all your fears, lift all your hopes and lose yourself in me.

I never said you would not suffer hurt and pain in the world but I sent my son to pay the price for all of it as its cause was of the spirit of hate. Don’t allow him to win over you, for the truth is as long as you doubt my love he is winning by his lies. He feeds your own sense of feelings of nothingness and gives you nothing but more pain, with his prodding of his forked tongue like a pitchfork that pokes and turns you around and around until you don’t know who you are, if you are, or why this is all happening to you. The root of his hatred is to cause you to deny me and therefore it falls to following him. One would loudly proclaim that this would never be his choice, but his actions speak louder than his words.

The enemy is a liar, and he tricks and deceives one to believe in his own thoughts instead of the Word of God. When your thoughts are not my thoughts, then your ways will not be my ways for you, and you will then follow the lead of your own mind and it will take you into the painful place of emotional hell.

The solution is not to be found in the world. A pill can temporarily relieve your physical or emotional pain, but for the fullness of the peace and wellbeing of the body and the soul is only to be found in the spirit of God, who is love. Therefore, we have uncovered the purpose of warfare, it is a battle between the spirit of love and the spirit of hate. Your answer lies in choosing which spirit you want to follow. Which portion of medicinal value contained in the bottle of love or the vial of hate will you choose to drink as your morning toast to the day? Even as we would take care of our body and its needs for health and wellbeing so too we must look to the needs of our soul and its health and wellbeing.

There is a great day coming for the body of Christ and the devil would try in all of his power to keep you from it. His tactics have already started, they are to rob you of the life now and for the future which God has great plans and hopes for you to experience. One of the purest and easiest ways to extricate the hold of Satan upon you is to choose to look forward, to choose may seem to be a lack of physical acting in our wanting to do something, but to choose is the activity of the mind which God will acknowledge as the deed done.

In choosing we operate the free will of our choice to live life by the freedom of our will. Our choice for God will open the mental doors of our imprisonment and will transport us to the realm of the spirit. We have the power to enter into the fullness of the promises of God based on his love for us, and as we rise higher into his presence by this powerful source of energy, our free will, we will ascent to the heights of God’s presence where the enemy cannot reach us, he can not touch us as we have risen to peaks in life, while the enemy has no entrance because he lives in the realm of death.

Wait until all the holidays have been celebrated and on the eve of the New Year proclaim these words to the body of Christ back at home and abroad:

This year will not be just another new year, but an era of time which will bring forth the power of the spirit in new ways to manifestation of the person of God. In the early days of salvation, you learned of the love of your Father God, who sent Jesus to save you from the life of flesh which would have been your ultimate judgement of damnation lest He not willingly came to earth in the form of your recognition of man. Now even as I sent him to reveal my person within his being, He has sent the Holy Spirit to reveal his person in you. Since I am in him and He is in you we are one in spirit, soul and body. This oneness is simply the fullness of the purpose of salvation.

When most believe to be saved from eternal damnation is the purpose, they have stopped short, for it is not just what you were saved from, but more importantly what you are saved for. Now that brings your mind into another realm of discovery of the purposes intended by the reborn experience, yet this discovery in itself is still not the fullness, it is yet to be your experience of this awareness that is yet to be the manifestation of the person of God through the power of his presence in you.

This is the manifestation of the Glory of God, for we who have attained this position of maturity of housing the Godhead within our physical being, then our flesh bodies have become his satisfaction to be able to move freely through the lips, the eyes, the hands and feet of the body this is one of the finest purposes of his fulfillment. Yet it is because of this finished work that He has been able to produce with those of his little flock, his bride, his delight and anticipation at what he can finally accomplish of his unfinished works that will now be expressed by the whole body with Christ as the head and the many membered body leaping and skipping together as one over all the final adversities that the earth will produce as it dies out to the old and struggles to give birth to the new.

The world is in travail and it will shake and quake as it gives up its hold on the old and makes way for the new. Life as you have known it will never be the same, for a short time it will seem as its underpinnings will give way. The winds of adversity will blow in all directions at once, and the seas will vomit up all the debris of man’s work upon the shores of their lives that they might come to see what it is they have done in their pride and ignorance. The sun, moon and stars will turn off their light for a time and the darkness of man’s evil will overcome his mirror image as he faces himself in the mirror of his life all the while this painful struggle is being borne upon the earth, the new earth is being born, the travail is producing the new world with the newness of life that is to be lived as it was meant to be from the beginning of time and beyond.

The new year is to be celebrated with the joy of the arrival of the world, even as the woman who gives birth looks beyond the pain with great expectations of the joy of bringing forth a son for the Lord’s delight as He receives another member of his family home. Home, that is our purpose, our destination. After all is said and done, from Genesis, the beginning, to the revelation of the fullness of God and his purpose, it is to bring us home, to where he is, and to live forever being eternally his.
