Halloween- first called Samhain, a Celtic belief that the dead walked among the living.
( it is not my intention to expound on the rituals of the pagan holiday, only to share that it is not of God)
This is a day on the calendar of man in which he celebrates his fallen human nature. He worships the god of evil and proclaims it to be a day of fun. Entertainment meant especially for children, yet the adults show forth their immaturity of spirit as they dance to the tune of the pied piper of death.
This is not a holiday or a holy day marked by the Bible, but instead is a religious day proclaimed by the unsaved churches in the world which cause deception and lead mankind down the paths of hell. There is no such event recorded in the Bible which is the word of God. Yet the ungodly drink up all the sensations of evil which cause a deceptive intoxication to their blurred vision to the light of truth, and careen headlong into the experience of evil, and call it pleasure.
The prophets of God are called to sound the alarm to awaken the church to the sound of his voice. To rub the sleep from their eyes and to see the Light of Day who is Jesus Christ himself. Wake up and reconsider where you are heading in your downward spiral, and stop this deceptive ride by putting on the brakes of your mind. There is still time to change the course of mankind, to save him from destroying himself through the darkness of his mind.
The way to do this, we who have the light of the word of God, must catch their wicks with our flame and set them on fire within, to light up the places where God once was and wants to be again.
To be born again is to bring the light of life, and the warmth of love, dispelling all darkness and giving one the torch by which he might take his own light and lead others out of the same darkness in which he once lived.
Halloween is not the greatest celebration on the calendar of man’s life, Christmas the day when Christ was born is the greatest celebration not only to be honored by the calendars holiday, but to be experienced in the midst of man’s heart and mind.
Truly now he has received the greatest gift, the gift of the fathers love. Jesus Christ himself.
