Let there be light

In the beginning before time began, darkness covered the earth and God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. Each night we go to bed knowing that we will arise to the light of day. God called the darkness night and the light he called day.

In everything God does in the natural world is hidden deeper meaning of supernatural or spiritual revelation. In calling forth “light,” God was not just creating the natural light of day, but was speaking the supernatural “light” of God’s wisdom into the world.

Today, our world lies in gross darkness; this is the darkness of the mind of mankind who has not received the light of God. Humanity has regressed in his choice of progression without the need of God’s knowledge and wisdom. With dependence upon self, man’s journey through time becomes an unknown and dangerous battlefield of survival. Having no light of spirit, he is lost in a maze of his own confused mind, which finds no reason or purpose in the greater meaning of life.

We live in a world today that is being governed and ruled by this void of mentality as men exalt themselves to the position of being their own god. Immorality and decadence are common practices that are celebrated as freedom of choice. Waving flags of liberty, their hypocritical voices demand to make their choice the only choice.

In God’s mind, men and women were created to complement one another in their physical and emotional makeup; they were given the incredible mandate to reproduce life and therefore populate the earth with seed of like kind, children of God who would worship him in the simple act of obedience in continuing this cycle of life.

In spite of God’s perfect rule and order, the self-made man, devoid of conscience and filled with gross desire for all that is of decay, promotes homosexuality, lesbianism, pedophilia, etc., as alternate, better lifestyles. Those sitting on the fence are deceived into singing the chorus of acceptance, lulled by the ignorance of their own irresolute minds. In this pervasive darkness of deception and delusion, the voice of God continues to command, “Let there be light!”

God has given man 70-some years to make the choice to live in the light, whereby ending his search for himself and discovering the meaning of life. The night of man’s mentality will one day come to an end, while the light of God will grow in the brilliance of his glory, to be found in those who accepted Jesus Christ as the light of the world and have come to live life in the fullest meaning of the word.

Those who refuse his invitation to live in the light will, of their own choice, be condemned to live in the darkness eternally. This is a real and living hell; to be separated from God is to be denied his love and presence. While there is still time, I extend this invitation to you to accept Jesus as your savior now, today, and come out of darkness into the marvelous light in which you may live from now into eternity, in his love.

New Beginnings

The beginning of a new month brings in the beginning of a new web site for the Theresa Lisanti Ministries. The ministry has been established since 1986 and the ways and means of sharing God’s Word are always new and exciting.

The call of God upon my life was to the “Office of the Prophet” when I had no idea what that meant. It was the late summer of 1969 when the Lord in answer to prayers of need met me in the middle of the night in my Bedroom. It was 3 o’clock in the morning and I was suddenly awakened and found myself being moved by what I know today was the Holy Spirit. I found myself kneeling upon my bed, leaning back on my heels with my hands lifted up, making an absolute surrender to God of my life. Having been bought up Catholic, these were not the actions I would have taken as such. A good Catholic would have knelt down on the floor bowed her head, folded her hands and prayed to a God she wasn’t sure would answer even if she believed He heard.

What followed is as clear and real to me today as it was then. I began to see a small round white light as big as a half dollar begin to glow in the right hand corner of my bedroom. As I watched, it grew larger and larger all the while moving closer and closer toward me until my whole room was filled with a brilliant white light, as bright as the morning sun. It moved beyond my room and filled by being as I was enveloped in the midst of this light, and without my realizing what was happening at first, it had filled my heart with the fullness of his presence, the fullness of life and love.

The Lord has called me into his service and this filling of his life and love are essential to meet the needs of his people, and more, to meet the needs of our Lord Jesus Christ in the measure of his satisfaction.

Another of the ways of God was to position me as Pastor of “The Church of the Little Flock” the name given by the leading of the Holy Spirit. The “little flock” (Luke 12:32) speaks of the remnant church, comprised of all born again believers who make the commitment to go all the way with the Lord. While most Christian seem to be satisfied with knowing they are saved and some believe in the Holy Spirit and speaking in tongues, the Little Flock wants to move beyond the basic principles of this foundation of knowing the Lord as Saviour and come into the perfect work of Christ, which is to say to come into an intimate and personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. Knowing him not only as Saviour, Baptizer, and Healer but knowing him in every facet of his person, in his position as Bridegroom to the church. (Heb.6:1) tells us to go on to perfection. This scripture teaches that there is a perfection that is attainable in Christ while yet on this earths level. It is the maturity of Spirit that one may attain as he follows the teachings of Christ, and therefore comes to know Christ in his fullest measure, which Is Bridegroom to the church. The title Bridegroom encompasses all he is of Saviour, baptizer, healer, provider and lover to his bride, the church.

Jesus is presented as such in “The Song of Solomon” and the purpose of this ministry is to bring each and every born again believer into the revelation and experience of this personal relationship as presented through the Song of all Songs, Jesus Christ himself.
